Reflections and Artifacts
Standard III is all about demonstrating knowledge of the latest technological breakthroughs of the field. I think that it is also important for teachers to influence their students to become technologically literate as well. It is all about being technologically savvy and modeling that for students. I chose the links below to represent this standard because each project has the potential to resonate with students. Students may pay attention to these models because of the popularity of social media. Each of these projects have given me inspiration to be creative, and I think that they have the ability to do the same thing for students.
Future Learning Goals
In the past, this has been the standard that I have struggled most with. On a personal note, I like social media and blogs, but I had never thought about the ways we could utilize these tools in the classroom. I hope to grow in this standard by having more creativity and paying attention to platforms that interest students.
